CJC’s UNBOLTED VINTAGE CLOSET

GERT-JOHAN COETZEE VINTAGE CLOSET MJ AND STUFF

I am always extremely proud of Gert-Johan Coetzee’s fated growth. In fact, I think a lot of characters participating in the local fashion fraternity could learn a great deal if they dare model most of their structures against his. The designer is undoubtedly famed for his glamorous creations appreciated across the clelebville and his most recent exploration sees him expanding his artistic vision to include a wardrobe for working women who want something stylish for the office. Launched last week at South African Fashion Week’s Fashion Week Wednesday, Vintage Closet is inspired by mother-and-daughter duo; Lorraine (Businesswoman) and Tiffiny (Attorney) Sutherland  who conceptualised the idea and pitched it to the designer maestro. This limited edition capsule collection (seriously, only one or two styles will be available at any time) is elegant and references styles which rocked bygone fashion moments, twisted into modern a modern fit. It consists of streamlined dresses, blouses, skirts and little jackets in versatile colour palettes.  Coetzee and the corporate duo said to have recognised the huge gap in the market for ultra-feminine designer daywear that is also affordable
