Summer time always means “toe time” for some people (seriously; bunions and corns are never cute.) and one of my favourite go-to brand for flip-flops is definitely Havaianas. The rad rubber shoe label –yup, they have stretched beyond sandals, has recently embarked on a fresh project to involve consumers in the design process of their iconic flip-flops; the Make Your Own Havaianas initiative. The concept originates from Brazil and South Africa will be the first country in the whole continent to allow consumers an opportunity to personally select all elements that goes into making their own flip-flops. Pretty awesome, right? A pop-up store will be set up *see details on the flier pic*. Here, you will be able to customise your very own pair of Havaianas flip-flops – choosing everything from the straps, the soles, mixing and matching these and even adding pins to the straps to personalise them as you please. Seeing that this is my blog’s birthday month, I would like to invite one of you –super cool readers, to join me at the launch event here in Joho where we would get a chance to make our own pairs of Havaiana flip-flops and have them assembled right on the spot. For this opportunity to link up with me, all you have to do is post up a comment describing your idea of a perfect Havaiana moment and I will choose the coolest comment. This should be fun *winks*.
