The Autumn/ Winter 2014 presentations for South African Fashion Week have just wrapped up and what a great feast of style it was. The three day event was perfectly scheduled just as the international fashion month concluded, which means that all the fashionpolitans were still in high spirits and many of the designers showcased some really exciting stuff. As much as this reads like we all had had a jolly awesome time (which we totally did), I will have you know that providing fashion week coverage from a fresh and exciting edge is no easy feat, one could almost deem it a blogger’s nightmare. That being said; I live for such a thrill and decided to blog from an unsystematic perspective. I chose to see and review everything in three’s. Three days, three top details, three killa outfits, every point of view will centre on the number three. To kick-start things, do check out my back to basics uniform for the entire #SAFW A/W 2014. I took my styling to traditional industry lengths, I challenged myself to wear everything black throughout the event and little did I know it is not all that easy, but I had plenty fun using my existing wardrobe to coordinate looks around many levels of “grunge”.
