WHAT KATE DID NEXT.

Kate Moss stars in a Alexander McQueen Spring Summer 2014 Campaign

Am I the only one who imagines that most of these start-up models popping out of everywhere must chant to themselves “What Would Kate Do”, whenever tasked with a fresh photo shoot? I know that would have definitely been my theme, should I dare try to flirt with an occupation paved by the likes of the charming Miss Moss. Kate has fronted many campaigns across all possible spheres of fashion and just when one would imagine that such force could run out, she stars in HER FIRST Alexander McQueen campaign photographed by Steven Klein, for their all so grand Spring/ Summer 2014 collection. Remember when I elatedly took to the social media and lauded Sarah Burton’s demonstration of an informed fashion warrior of the future? Those golden helmets still slice my heart strings but I love that in this campaign, Kate Moss rocks a cropped hair-do in a rusty yellow gold shade. I don’t really have the insight as to how the team was briefed prior conducting this shoot but in my head, I have decided that the purpose of this matching small doll clutched in hand by Lady Miss Moss signifies that even though everything else appears to echo optimal strength, there is a confident measure of playfulness in every gal’s existence.

At 40 years old, the super model still fortifies an indubitable connection to one of her home country’s first-rate labels. Lee would have been so proud. Love Kate. Love her work.
