Do y’all remember when a parka was CPRed into awesomeness a little while ago? The same is totally happening to/with a windbreaker. Or maybe I could just be having a thing for synthetic fabric add-ons as my choice of layering for winter 2014. I went all fashionpolitan crazy wild with some amazing windies for the most part of #MBFWJ2014 without looking like my old school’s PE teacher #AintNobodyGotTimeForThat.
Craig Port is totally on my radar right now and I am dangerously in love with his current Winter 2014 collections where the designer explored a fusion of fresh designs with retro classics. In line with the proudly Capetonian designer’s manifesto for WDC2014 Year Of Design, this range best showcases an expert blend of international trends, futuristic craftsmanship and a well expressed uniquely African point of view.
I am particularly almost always kitted up in PORT’s black windbreaker with white shoulder line details and drawstrings. Let’s just say, integrating it into my wardrobe is all sorts of fun –hello Sports Luxe on a new high.
Good news: one of you, really awesome readers of this blog will get to walk away with this stunning piece and this is how it will work.
