The spring season hasn’t even done its thing yet and I am already drinking from the fountain of cool-Kid-Juice, being one with these streets –all jolly-jumpy and stuff. Well, I do suppose I have ample reason to be springing off scorched grass (not the cool-kind-juice drinking bit. that is all because I am a liker of things). Anyway, yes, I am completely all about the dancing, the jumping, and the breaking out in song unheard of at the random of occasions because my jean-pant game has just seen an upgrade. Wrangler’s newest Greensboro release, aptly named Bait Blue has me done in.
The fit is regular in the rise, with a slightly higher back than the front to offer a comfortable yet modern look and feel. Through the thigh the fit is regular for comfort and a trim look. Key to the Greensboro’s fit is a slight taper from the knee to the bottom hem – giving the impression of a slimmer leg, for a clean, modern, standard fit. Available in 1- 2% stretch denim for comfort and freedom of movement.
I am always championing the renowned brand’s #KnowYourFit campaign and the Greenboro is definitely pioneering a new standard in the jeans department. I am all for the guarantee with a casual quality strategy, so I wore my pair to the park the other day. Seen in these pics, coordinated for a look I hope conveys a fresh-out-of-winter vibe…
I am typing this whilst observing one of my favourite things to do outside of the barricades of a SALE sign. I am people-watching through my window. Surveying humans as some of them settle into an admirable routine of sorts, straight after a blissfully long Easter weekend. I cannot help but wonder about their possible wonders for their wardrobes. Particularly in this loom of what feels like a rather frosty winter season ahead –if the morning chills are anything to go by. I know, I am going crazy for some of the pieces I spotted at spree.co.za’s AW15 collection preview. There is a pair of Head Honcho joggers I am simply dying to get into.
Presumably taking lead from the much celebrated trend of injecting athletic elements into everyday wear, this pair of pants forms a key part of SPREE’s street relevant range of local designer gear aptly headlined The Collective! I was fortunate to have gushed incredibly at the collection just as it was revealed, in Cape Town, a couple days ago. Imagine the sensible next piece to have in your closet. A piece so appropriate it could even transcend seasons. The ribbed and padded detail on the knee area is a remarkable update to an item that has become a definite wardrobe staple.
… it always all in the details…
Logically, I am dying all kinds of deaths for a pair and will stop at nothing to hook up one. Good news; you too can hook up something nice at www.spree.co.za. We –the rad retailer and I- are feeling super generous and to celebrate all this awesomeness we are giving away a R500 Spree Voucher. All you need to do is drop me a comment *in the essential comments box below* and simply tell me how you would style a pair.
Gushing for the vid.
Good luck and #WERQ
A pinch and a punch for a brand new month and all its awesomeness. Guess who is featured in this month’s issue of REAL Magazine? Yep, c’est mois! Thanks to the print copy’s brilliant Fashion Editor: Siyamthanda Mtshemla who thought of me as the first subject for a new profile feature titled MY LIFE IN FASHION.
In the full page story, I gush on about my top favourite things in my closet including my budding sneaker obsession, the never-ending hat game affairs and impulsive purchases amongst some much more.
The mag is currently on shelves countrywide and if you’ve got a moment, do share a shout out via social network streets.

I could have just hashtagged #NUFFSAID and hit the “publish” button but I remembered a few other rad adjectives I could approve, to testify my thing for the dungie.
